Aurora Cannabis to hold call for investors next month

The cannabis company has made several strategic moves recently that should pay off

Financial reports help companies to know if there is any type of mismatch in their accounts that affects their operation, to establish the responsibilities of the different areas, to know if their finances are healthy and to have clarity on the evolution of the business to make future decisions. In addition to this, they can compare their financial situation with that of their competitors and comply with current regulations. In an effort to have this information at hand, Aurora Cannabis recently announced that it has scheduled a conference call to discuss its fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2022 results.

The Canadian company that is defining the future of cannabinoids worldwide will hold this event on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 5:00 PM EST. The intention through the call is to be able to report its financial results related to the fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2022 after the close of markets that same day.

Glen Ibbott, Chief Financial Officer, along with Miguel Martin, Chief Executive Officer, will host the conference call and will be in charge of a question-and-answer session. In addition to the presentation of these financial statements, the leading cannabis firm expects to present other annual disclosure documents, including the annual information form.

This will follow a significant acquisition by Aurora. The company announced last week that a wholly owned subsidiary has acquired a majority stake in Bevo Agtech (Bevo). A transaction of this magnitude allows Aurora to immediately benefit from a profitable, cash flow-positive and growing business. In addition, it may have the potential to boost the long-term value of Aurora’s existing cannabis business through the application of Bevo’s industry-leading plant propagation expertise.
