Through the opening of Ayr Wellness Bryn Mawr, the leading vertically integrated multi-state cannabis operator (MSO) in the US, joins the Pennsylvania footprint. This is now the company’s eighth affiliated dispensary in The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Ayr is clear that the Keystone State market is seeing tremendous growth, which is why to start the year off on the right foot, it has continued to pursue its expansion plans there.
“The Pennsylvania medical marijuana market continues to show excellent growth, and we are excited to be opening our eighth affiliated dispensary in the Commonwealth,” said Jonathan Sandelman, founder, chairman and CEO of Ayr. “We consistently strive to deliver the highest quality product at an accessible price and look forward to bringing more of our branded products to the Pennsylvania patients in 2022.”
The company’s continued rapid expansion of its presence in this state’s burgeoning medical marijuana market is now reflected through the acquisition of this approximately 3,000 square foot dispensary. Its location at 712 Lancaster Ave, Bryn Mawr, PA, is near major retailers, in addition to having close proximity to five renowned universities. Bryn Mawr is located towards the center of the “Main Line,” which is a series of wealthy suburban clusters extending westward from Philadelphia and ending in Malvern.
In addition to carrying Ayr-branded products such as Seven Hill, Origyn Extracts, and Revel Flower, it is announced that the new location will have nine retail outlets. Consumers will also be able to find a variety of third-party brand sources whose operations are based in the state.
This new dispensary is the fifth of six potential dispensaries to be opened by CannTech PA LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ayr. Another Ayr subsidiary called PA Natural Medicine operates three other dispensaries in downtown Pennsylvania State College, Bloomsburg and Selinsgrove.
