Expanding its presence in a state like Florida is one of the most obvious strategies that Ayr Wellness Inc. seems to be choosing to pursue lately. The leading vertically integrated multi-state cannabis operator yesterday held the grand opening of Liberty Health Sciences Ocala, the company’s 39th dispensary to open in the Sunshine State.
The dispensary is located at 4920 E Silver Springs Boulevard, Ocala, and is reported to be nearly 3,000 square feet in size. One of the advantages for both the company and consumers is that it is located on one of the busiest roads in Central Florida in a plaza that houses more than 50 spaces and parking is available. Here, many people have the opportunity to visit different stores, markets, and restaurants. However, most importantly, it is now also a place where enthusiasts can visit to get their favorite marijuana products.
LHS Ocala has introduced Ayr’s expanded selection of flower strains, as well as its recently launched Origyn concentrates and Big Pete’s Cookies, which have been enjoyed by many of the brand’s followers. “We believe this is a critical time to open dispensaries in the Florida market, putting our share in attractive locations throughout the state. We now have 39 stores open in Florida and are targeting the opening of eleven more stores before the end of the year,” said Jonathan Sandelman, CEO of Ayr. “We continue to invest heavily in improving the quality and capability of our crop to upgrade our product offering and contribute to a better customer experience. The results of these investments are starting to pay off and we couldn’t be more proud of our team.”
As time goes on, Florida has proven to be one of the states with the most complete and robust medical marijuana market. To prove that this is a fact, more than 595,045 patients were registered as of August 6, 2021, a 53% increase year over year, according to the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana Use. This has led companies like Ayr to set their sights on it as a strategic growth plan.
Congratulation!
