One of the leading cannabis industries in the North American region has presented its new portfolio with products to be launched as part of the Cannabis 2.0. Several of those products offer true innovation that aims to take the Canadian recreational market by storm. Canopy Growth Inc. has been making several changes to its operational structure, so its general numbers are more in line with the company’s vision.
Among the latest releases, there are the cannabis-infused beverages – Tweed Houndstooth & Soda and Tweed Bakerstreet & Ginger – that come ready to drink, and these products already shipped, one in March 2020 and the other one in April 2020, respectively. In addition, a new product called Houndstooth & Soda is being presented as the first THC-infused ready-to-drink beverage making an entry to the Canadian market. This product has had great initial reviews, which led to an increased demand across the country and more shipments made to retailers. There are two additional beverages that will be available for consumers in the upcoming weeks, Houseplant Grapefruit and Deep Space, which promise a unique blend and experience for the consumer.
“We are proud to see the early responses to our infused beverages,” shared CEO David Klein. “Our beverage innovation team took a flavour-first approach with our drinks, and the first four offerings to hit the market demonstrate the range of our portfolio, with flavour profiles that will satiate our consumers’ palates. We have said all along that infused beverages were going to be game-changer for our industry, and we are excited to introduce this new product category to even more Canadian adult consumers in the coming weeks.”
Earlier this year, the company presented to other edibles to the Canadian market: Tokyo Smoke Pause, Tokyo Smoke Go, Tweed Houndstooth & Mocha, and Tweed Bakerstreet & Peppermint – all cannabis-infused chocolate SKUs. These chocolates were produced at Canopy’s factory in Smiths Falls, Ontario.
