The cannabidiol (CBD) beverage market is expected to be worth several billion dollars in just a few short years and Canopy Growth is determined not to miss out. The cannabis company announced today that it has signed a new distribution agreement with a regional beverage distributor that will allow it to introduce its Quatreau CBD-infused sparkling water to more US retailers. The move follows the introduction of Quatreau to the US market less than two months ago.
Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits is a large distributor of beverage alcohol in the US and will deliver Quatreau to seven states in the beginning, with other states to be added later. In addition to the retail rollout, Southern Glazer’s also has its own eCommerce platform, sgproof.com, which will offer the products, as well.

Quatreau contains 20mg of US-grown hemp-based CBD. The water comes in four flavors, including Cucumber + Mint, Passion Fruit + Guava, Blueberry + Acai, and Ginger + Lime . It is sugar-free, making it a low-calorie option. Quatreau was introduced to the Canadian market last year and has since become the top-selling ready-to-drink CBD beverage on the market, according to Canopy Growth.
