The cannabis venture firm will provide a financial update to shareholders tomorrow

The cannabis industry has been reporting a lot of activity and changes this month, and more news keep being released. Cannabis-specialized venture firm Canopy Rivers Inc. is about to report its third-quarter fiscal year 2020 figures before the market opens tomorrow Friday and, subsequent to that release, will hold a conference call with management and shareholders to talk about the earnings.

Canopy Rivers Inc. is making available on its profile at the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR) website the results of the analysis made during the nine-month period that ended on December 31, 2019. The company will upload the interim consolidated financial statements that were unaudited, as well as the management’s discussion and analysis of financial results for this period. The conference call, including an audio webcast featuring Narbé Alexandrian, President, and CEO and Eddie Lucarelli, CFO, is scheduled for tomorrow at 9:00 AM Eastern Time.

While this and more cannabis businesses are preparing to present their quarter figures, the biggest association for the cannabis trade and advocacy, the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA), is announcing a freshly appointed board of directors at the Northeast Cannabis Business Conference in Boston. Sitting on the board will now be one of Canopy Rivers’ executives.

CEO Narbé Alexandrian has been appointed to the board alongside other new members. Besides Alexandrian, there will be other important cannabis industry figures, including Omar Figueroa, principal of Law Offices of Omar Figueroa, Inc., who has been a cannabis advocate and attorney representing cannabis-based business in California for a while now. Liz Geisleman, VP of Rocky Mountain Reagents, Inc., is another new name to this board and will bring her experience in the field of biological and chemical product solutions to a variety of industries. From one of the largest medical cannabis cultivators, Copperstate Farms, general counsel Ryan Hurley was also appointed to this board, as was Chris Jackson, the co-founder of Indica LLC and Sticky Ypsi, a cannabis provider based in Michigan.
