Even though COVID-19 has made it difficult for different industries to network and continue their growth strategies, the ability to conduct business virtually has been a great alternative. There has been no shortage of virtual conferences and events organized to continue moving the commercial world forward, and the cannabis industry hasn’t been the exception. An upcoming conference on cannabis, Growth From Home, will move into the digital realm, and Canopy Rivers, the leading company supporting the entire cannabis industry, will be hand to participate.
Growth From Home is a virtual edition of the Growth conference, an annual event that offers curated content, networking and more. It brings together different segments of the cannabis industry, as well as from beyond, including entertainers, startup founders, professional athletes, investors, corporate executives, government policymakers, media professionals and world-renowned researchers.
This upcoming event is scheduled to be held on October 28 and 29, providing coverage for a variety of topics that will impact the future of the global cannabis industry, as well as assist with the continuing efforts to bring it into the mainstream. Over 200 speakers are already signed up, and there will be 2,500 one-on-one meetings on the agenda. Narbe Alexandrian, Canopy Rivers CEO and president, will be one of the speakers, providing an update on the state of investments in the cannabis industry, as well as horizontal integration.
According to the Growth website, “The Growth From Home platform will have networking functionality that recommends meetings based on attendee profiles and interests gathered at registration. This allows for smooth attendee experience at first log-in, and increases the efficiency and effectiveness of meetings.
“All meetings will be dual opt-in, they can be facilitated through the platform (or off!), and the platform will be open for up to 90 days* after October 28-29 for unlimited attendees.”
