Charlotte’s Web Holdings, Inc. has announced a new distribution agreement with Stark Foods International. For those who may not have heard the company mentioned before, Stark Foods is responsible for supplying some of the largest mass, grocery, and drugstore retailers, as well as independent specialty retailers that are not served by the major distributors. Its presence in Europe is massive, which is why the market leader in hemp extract cannabidiol (CBD) wellness products has relied on its distribution services to expand its reach in the Old Continent and the US.
The distributor of specialty food and beauty products in Europe for supermarkets and retail stores seems to be extremely excited to work with one of the most relevant companies in the cannabis industry. The announcement was confirmed yesterday, knowing that Stark Foods will be a key player in making Charlotte’s Web’s expansion much larger in the US, essentially New York.
“Stark is a highly respected distribution partner with particular strength in curated European products, where Charlotte’s Web has the opportunity to significantly increase its recognition to new consumer groups,” said Jacques Tortoroli, CEO of Charlotte’s Web. “Initial distribution will focus on making further inroads into the high-value New York tri-state area through Stark’s leading independent retailers.”
Vasilike Miksa, COO of Stark, says the firm saw a great opportunity to provide its huge customer base with wellness products, aligning with its goal of bringing into homes shopping habits not currently available in its channels. Miksa added that adding CBD to the offerings is due to the best-in-class reputation that Charlotte’s Web has earned as a global CBD pioneer. He says the brand will provide end customers with natural wellness solutions to help them improve their quality of life.
Congratulation!
