The largest cannabis company dedicated to hemp-extracted cannabidiol (CBD) products just announced the appointment of a new member serving the company. Jean Birch has joined Charlotte’s Web Hemp (CNQ: CWEB Board of Directors, bringing to the company vast experience as an independent public company director, and the experience from serving as a veteran C-level operating executive in the consumer sector.
All of this can be huge assets for Charlotte’s Web.
Birch is currently serving as a director on the boards of Jack in the Box Inc., Forrester Research and CorePoint Lodging Inc. She has also served in the past as a member of Papa Murphy’s Inc. and Darden boards. Birch is an official Board Leadership Fellow as per her certification issued by the National Association of Corporate Directors. On top of that, she has experience in the consumer retailer area from running large restaurant companies such as IHOP, Macaroni Grill and Corner Bakery Cafe, the latter one with great results.
