The entry and exit of employees in companies have always been a fact of life. Those related to the marijuana business are not exempt from this movement, and the responses to improve according to these decisions must always be adequate. In the case of Colorado-based hemp and CBD company Charlotte’s Web Holdings, there have been some reported changes in the executive ranks. Wes Booysen departed as its Chief Financial and Operations Officer a month ago. On the same day, the company also announced the appointments of Lindsey Jensen as CFO and Jared Stanley, its co-founder, as COO.
Having started as Senior Director of Finance and Controller of Operations in 2019, Jensen, 39, has been a key player for the company. Subsequent to this trajectory, Jensen served as VP of Finance, Sales and Operations until her appointment as CFO.
Prior to her journey with Charlotte’s Web, Jensen served as Director of Finance and Accounting at Samantha Brands Group. This investment company has a core focus on consumer brand investments. She was there for a period of two years, from 2017 to 2019.
Stanley, 35, has been instrumental in the development of multiple executive roles. Today, he has taken on the role of COO. The cannabis and hemp industry is nothing new to Stanley and his 14 years of experience attest to that. He has been responsible for creating the first scalable hemp raw material supply systems as well as building the company’s cultivation divisions from the ground up.
As co-founder of Charlotte’s Web, Stanley has been the face of the company in media, global press and public events, talking about the company’s mission-driven story. He also holds an important position when it comes to the company’s legislative activities at the state and federal levels.
Congratulation!
