Clinical trials are conducted to ensure the safety and efficacy of drugs and treatments. They are the continuity of scientific research that begins in the laboratory. In the cannabis industry, this procedure is of utmost importance, and that they result in success is even more so. Clinical studies reveal to researchers what is effective and what is not effective in treating patients. Thanks to the quality shown by Charlotte’s Web Holdings, positive results have been shared from a randomized, controlled clinical trial study that evaluated the efficacy of hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD) extracts.
Charlotte’s Web participated in the Radicle ACES study, which was conducted by an independent health technology company that validates health and wellness products, Radicle Science. As part of a larger research study, hundreds of participants from across the country used the original Charlotte’s Web formula for one month. The idea is to evaluate health outcomes based on five key points: quality of life, overall well-being, quality of sleep, and feelings of daily stress or discomfort.
In order to conduct this study, the researchers used standardized scientific methods and confirmed indices to measure each outcome individually, tracking progress as the study period progressed.
“We’re applying modern science to prove or predict the effectiveness of CBD products used by tens of millions of Americans every day,” said Jeff Chen, MD/MBA, co-founder and CEO of Radicle Science. “Our objective is to deliver accurate, transparent, and actionable insights to help create trust and transparency for the CBD industry.”
Study participants, on average, expressed a clear and palpable improvement in their quality of life and overall well-being. Many of them also reported better quality of sleep and the feeling of stress felt less noticeable throughout the days compared to what had previously been their norm. This clinical trial was able to confirm the benefits of Charlotte’s Web full spectrum hemp extract in a positive way.
Congratulation!
