The cannabis dispensary map in Florida continues to grow. There are a number of companies already hard at work to develop a robust marijuana network across the Sunshine State, and Liberty Health Sciences (CNQ: LHS) has just added another shop to the mix. It announced this past Tuesday that it is ready to open its 18th dispensary.
This latest store will be located in Tampa, provided it receives approval by the Florida Department of Health. Given the history between the two, that shouldn’t be an issue. As soon as it opens, Liberty Health will have four different dispensaries serving the Tampa area.
The dispensary will be located at 2814 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Tampa, according to a press release. It will operate seven days a week and, keeping with the company’s standard layout, will offer a retail and reception area, a private consultation room (some of the other locations have two) and a waiting area. Décor will be provided by locally-inspired art and will be rotated regularly to keep things fresh.
Victor Mancebo, the company’s interim CEO, adds in the statement, “We are delighted that our 18th dispensary is being opened in the Tampa Bay area. This fourth location in the region solidifies our strong presence and commitment to our patients living in and around Florida’s west coast. As our patient base continues to grow, we want to ensure that we are providing them sufficient and conveniently located outlets where they can source their medicine.”
In addition to Tampa, Liberty Health also has dispensaries in Panama City, North Miami, Boca Raton, St. Petersburg, Dania Beach, Port St. Lucie, Gainesville and many others. Gainesville is also home to its large cultivation and education facilities. For those who cannot travel, the company also operates an eCommerce site for orders, with free delivery available across the state for most patients.
Congratulation!
