Liberty Health Sciences continues to advance in the cannabis industry as it maneuvers itself to be one of the leading companies in the space. It’s well on its way to reaching that goal, and interim CEO George Gremse is determined to put together a winning team of experts that will drive its success. The newest addition is through Darrin Potter, a cannabis industry expert who will now serve as the company’s VP of Operations.
Potter has been in the cannabis industry for more than 12 years, focusing on production in both the medical and the recreational cannabis markets. Before his appointment at Liberty Health, he was the VP of Production at iAnthus Capital Holdings, Inc., where he worked in the cultivation space and coordinated with assets across the US to ensure they met the firm’s standards. He also previously worked as the Chief Horticulture Officer for GrowHealthy Holdings.
Potter said of his appointment, “I look forward to refining the business processes already in place at Liberty, continue to develop quality products and provide the best user experience in Florida. My goal is to bring online more award-winning genetics, exciting new product offerings and increase production as we continue to strengthen our existing customer relationships and expand our reach.”
Gremse is anxious to let Potter get down to business and do what he does best, explaining, “Liberty’s production decreased this past summer creating some shortages of product in the dispensaries over the past few months. New genetics and SOPs were introduced, and the results are starting to show. Darrin is a strong, experienced leader. His comprehensive industry background adds a high level of expertise that will serve the company and our patients well. His focus will be on continuing to improve the quality and quantity of Liberty’s product offerings. We are confident that Darrin will be an outstanding addition to our team and has what it takes to lead the Company to another level of success. We are thrilled to have him on board.”
Congratulation!
