The cannabis company will soon have 26 shops up and running around the Sunshine State

A couple of days ago, one of the market leaders in Florida’s medical marijuana sector announced the opening of a new dispensary in the state. Through a press release, Liberty Health Sciences (CNQ: LHS). announced its plans to open its latest medical marijuana dispensary, which will be located in Jacksonville Beach. This new retail location, scheduled to be launched on July 18, will serve the communities of Mayport, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach; however, the company is still waiting for approval from the Florida Department of Health.

The brand-new location for the Toronto-based cannabis venture will be located in the area that is affectionately called northeast Florida’s “First Coast.” The store is a 4,700-square-foot facility that has a spacious display and retail area, and it also includes two private consultation rooms and impressive waiting area as well. As is a tradition across all Liberty Health dispensaries, this store will feature original paintings and photographs from talented, local artists on a rotating basis.

“Our expansion into the beautiful coastal resort city of Jacksonville Beach reflects not only Liberty’s rapid growth trajectory but also our commitment to providing patients accessibility and convenience to obtain quality medical marijuana throughout the state,” said Victor Mancebo, CEO of Liberty. “We are constantly on the lookout for the best real estate locations in Florida to provide safe access to high-quality cannabis products and services.”

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Liberty Health dispensaries are committed to following strict health and safety protocols in order to minimize the risk for its patients, employees and the facilities. The company is following recommendations from the state government health guidelines to reduce the spread of the virus, so patients can feel safe whenever they need to go pick up their medication. The company also offers the option to place the orders online at its own website, and the products can be either delivered or picked up at the store.
