TerrAscend extends existing partnership with the Cookies cannabis brand

The cannabis MSO is finding great success with its ongoing relationship with Cookies

Multi-state operator (MSO) TerrAscend has no intention of stopping its efforts to deepen its US markets. The presence in different states has given this company an exponential development over the years and it seems that this strategy of expansion and growth is not going to stop in the near future. It seems that one of the most important news at the moment is the recent contract extension with Cookies, a brand that has definitely brought great benefits to the company since they joined forces.

Jason Wild, CEO of TerrAscend, says that this decision seemed to be a no-brainer a few months ago, as the partnership has brought nothing but good things in different markets across the country. TerrAscend’s union with Cookies Ark has been made to now exclusively bring products to the growing New Jersey market. The company’s first relationship with Cookies was through Cage Growth, a company whose acquisition is still pending. Cage is the exclusive processor and grower of Cookies in Michigan.

According to Wild, the brand’s power to attract consumers goes back a long way. Ultimately all of these customers end up with a higher average basket size, taking home as many Cookies products as other items. Wild predicts that with the arrival of Cookies in New Jersey, a similar effect will be achieved. While it is true that this product is not yet on the shelves in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the company is in an ideal position to attract consumers who want the brand.

TerrAscend currently has two dispensaries within 20 minutes of Manhattan and another dispensary just across the Pennsylvania border. Cookies definitely remains an interesting bet for the company. With the edible market growing in popularity, it is very likely that this partnership will continue to thrive for many, many more years to come.
