Workplace promotions are not only important for employees but also for companies looking to fill a position with someone they feel has sufficient experience and knowledge. TerrAscend seems to be fully confident in Jodie Lampert’s skills and this is justified after she was promoted to SVP of Human Resources. The leading North American cannabis operator joins the list of major cannabis companies that have made recent changes to their leadership team.
Lampert previously served as VP of Human Resources at Gage Growth, so it is clear that she has the experience necessary for the new role the company has entrusted her with. She will now be responsible for facilitating the integration of talent throughout the combined organization.
The HR department is important because it is the one that develops the committed workforce within the organization. It is also where it creates strategies for strong and satisfying working relationships.
HR is also in charge of recruiting and onboarding new workers, as well as training existing ones. With Lampert at the head of such a department, TerrAscend is confident that these tasks will be fully accomplished.
Prior to her involvement in the cannabis industry, Lampert spent more than two decades leading various human resources teams in the automotive industry. Now with this new assignment, she will be in charge of driving employee engagement, overseeing leadership development, streamlining the necessary HR processes in the North American markets, as well as defining talent management initiatives.
“Since the closing of TerrAscend’s acquisition of Gage, I have been impressed with the Company’s commitment to putting its people first,” said Lampert. “I am honored to be recognized with this promotion, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work closely with this amazing team. I truly believe that TerrAscend employs the best and the brightest in the cannabis industry, and I intend to help us extend that lead.”
Congratulation!
