TerrAscend Corp, a leading cannabis operator in North America, has already noticed how its premium California brand, Valhalla Confections, has been a huge success, and now it wants to bring that popularity to the East Coast. The launch of this edibles brand will be made available to people in New Jersey, where it is expected to be widely accepted based on the growth the market has been seeing lately. The tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)-infused soft lozenges are hitting the shelves exclusively at the company’s two New Jersey Apothecarium dispensaries located in Phillipsburg and Maplewood.
On the West Coast, the popularity of Valhalla’s soft lozenges was incredible, especially as it was considered one of the first accurately dosed ingestable products on the market. The lozenges are formulated with THC oil, cannabinoids and terpenes that provide a discreet, convenient and precise cannabis experience, as well as being gluten-free for those who are looking to keep their shape or have allergies. Blue Raspberry, Sour Watermelon and Sweet Orange are the brand’s three most popular flavors, which can now be accessed by the Garden State’s medical patients. The package contains a total of 35 pills, each providing 10mg of THC.
“Valhalla has developed a strong consumer following in California and we are thrilled to officially launch this exciting new form factor in New Jersey,” said Jason Wild, Executive Chairman of TerrAscend. “As we continue to build scale in our East Coast markets, I look forward to introducing additional product lines and categories that provide patients and adult-use consumers with desirable, high-quality products.”
The official launch was held last Thursday, and during the celebration, members of the Valhalla team were on-site at both Apothecarium New Jersey locations to guide and educate patients on the importance of safe use, as well as answer any questions they may have about the product.
