TerrAscend has noticed how other multi-state operators (MSOs) have been expanding their footprint around the country, and clearly does not want to be one of those competitors left behind. As such, the region’s leading cannabis operator yesterday announced the opening of The Apothecarium Lodi. The new facility is considered the firm’s third retail outlet in New Jersey and its 27th overall. Consumers now have access to purchase cannabis products for both medical and recreational use.
Jason Wild, executive chairman of TerrAscend, commented on the new facility and was pleased to see the company continue to grow as the year progresses. “Built with the state’s first drive-thru, off of Route 17 and I-80, two of the busiest highways in New Jersey, we expect the Apothecarium Lodi to be a strong contributor to our growth.”
Wild has expressed the great enthusiasm the team has for bringing The Apothecarium’s elevated retail experiences while continuing to join forces to build remarkable relationships in the local community. Joining this launch is the exclusive Cookies Corner store, which offers a wide assortment of products in the state.
Located at 200 NJ-17, the 5,000-square-foot dispensary features an interactive “bud bar” and an expansive showroom. The idea of these initiatives is for consumers to have the ability to smell and analyze the product before making a purchasing decision. Both consumers and patients can use the online platform or the Apothecarium app to place their orders and experience New Jersey’s first drive-thru dispensary.
The new location is highly strategic as it is located in one of the Garden State’s most populous upstate regions, just a few miles from Manhattan and adjacent to the Satin Dolls’ iconic “Bada Bing” club, featured on The Sopranos. The new opening in Lodi joins Phillipsburg and Maplewood in an effort to offer the largest variety of coveted Cookies, Gage and Kind Tree branded accessories and products in the state.
Congratulation!
