TRP, the cannabis holding and operating company with the exclusive rights to introduce Cookies, has teamed up with TerrAscend to bring these global cannabis brand products to the Pennsylvania territory. The partnership was recently announced by the North American cannabis operator as a clear commitment to bring this coveted brand to more regions of the country.
Consumers in The Keystone State will be able to visit TerrAscend dispensaries across the Commonwealth and TRP-owned Cookies stores opening in the coming months to access Cookies’ premium strains. Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, TerrAscend will be responsible for manufacturing and growing Cookies products in the state.
TerrAscend has Apothecarium and Keystone Canna Remedies dispensary chains throughout the state. It will leverage that solid footprint to launch Cookies products in the coming weeks. Jason Wild, CEO of TerrAscend, commented that he and his team are extremely excited to unveil this agreement as it is a new way to continue to share these world-class products with patients in Pennsylvania.
“Pennsylvania has always shown Cookie’s love and we could not be more excited to expand our reach on the East Coast with our partner TerrAscend. We’re excited to launch a fresh menu of California flavors, in what has become a very strong and important market for cannabis in the US,” said Berner, co-founder and CEO of Cookies.
Through this alliance, TerrAscend will be able to continue to bring high-quality products to its stores located in Plymouth-Meeting, Lancaster, Thorndale, Bethlehem, Allentown and Stroudsburg. Brandon Johnson, co-founder and CEO of TRP, said the firm is working to open flagship stores in the Commonwealth, which will give the brand an even larger footprint among patients in the state.
