TerrAscend’s Cookies brand launches adult-use sales in Detroit

The cannabis company is celebrating its third anniversary with an expansion

Detroit has been one of the major American cities where recreational marijuana use has been possible for quite some time now. This has led companies like TerrAscend to focus their business in the region. In celebration of its third anniversary, the company’s flagship Cookies brand has launched adult-use sales in the area, meeting the needs of many consumers who know the brand’s high quality.

North America’s leading cannabis operator announced earlier this week that it has launched marijuana sales at its Cookies Detroit retail store. With the help of its Gage Cannabis subsidiaries, the firm will target the city’s recreational cannabis demand so that many of its consumers will have access to high-quality products. Cookies, Gage, Cali Blaze, Camino, Pure Beauty, Jeeter, Khalifa Kush, 1906 and more will now be available to customers.

Cookies Detroit plans to host a three-year anniversary party this weekend. Those interested in this new launch can visit the 3,500-square-foot retail space located at 6030 8 Mile Rd. This store was actually the first Cookies location to open its doors in Michigan.

“Gage is proud to celebrate its growing partnership with Cookies and TerrAscend in Michigan,” said Jason Wild, executive chairman of TerrAscend. “We’re very excited to offer the acclaimed Cookies and Gage products to adult-use customers in Detroit, the heart of one of the US cannabis industry’s largest markets.”

In order to celebrate the new adult-use marijuana sales launch and its third anniversary, Cookies Detroit says it will hold on-site activations, featuring food trucks, live DJ music, vendors, special offers and giveaways beginning Saturday at 10:00 AM. As a special offer, the first 150 customers who make a purchase of $25 or more will receive a free product.
