The two cannabis industry leaders are going to work on bringing new products to Canada’s market
Two of the world powers in the cannabis space appear to be joining forces to take the Canadian market to the next level. Tilray Brands and Charlotte’s Web Holdings are undoubtedly two recognized names in the industry. While they are viewed as competition, they feel that a strategic alliance is necessary at this time. The world’s leading consumer products company and the US market leader in hemp extract-based wellness products (CBD) are looking to pool their expertise for the licensing, quality, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of Charlotte’s Web hemp extract products in Canada.
A partnership like this has rarely been seen in the history of the North American cannabis market. Canadians will undoubtedly benefit the most from this move. They will soon have the ease of having Charlotte’s Web full spectrum CBD products available across the country. That process will be facilitated by Tilray’s distribution network.
Initially, only Canadian families who qualified for a special access medical exemption through Health Canada were eligible for Charlotte’s Web hemp extract. However, the landscape has changed, and with Tilray added to the equation, more Canadians will be able to enjoy the benefits of these high-quality products.
