Tilray continues to show no signs of slowing down with its objective of being the leader in the cannabis consumables market. Its latest endeavor includes the introduction of new medical cannabis edibles that are certainly going to be received well by the community. The new line of products, introduced yesterday, is now available across Canada.
Tilray has introduced new chocolates and soft chew gummies that contain different formulations of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD). They join the company’s existing offerings of whole flower, oils, vapes, and pre-rolls, all of which have been uniquely crafted to benefit medical marijuana patients. They include two formulations of 16-gram cannabis-infused chocolate bars that contain 10mg of THC and less than one milligram of CBD per package in the THC Milk Chocolate product, and 1mg of THC and 20mg of CBD in the CBD Dark Chocolate product. The gummies are available in watermelon flavor, with 10mg of THC, and pineapple-mango with 10mg of THC and 10mg of CBD.
Irwin D. Simon, Tilray’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, “Whether it’s pain management, anxiety treatment, or everything in between, patients are asking for more choices in the medical cannabis category, and Tilray remains committed to the innovations that improve patient wellbeing. As cannabis regulations evolve around the world, we look forward to offering our global patient community the highest-quality medicines they depend on for health, wellness and wellbeing.”
Tilray has set itself apart as a leader in the cannabis consumables market and continues to innovate as the market grows. It is focused on health and wellness in Canada, but is also keeping a close eye on developments in the US. Tilray Canada President Jim Meiers welcomes the new additions to the brand, adding, “Tilray continues to deliver the benefits of cannabis safely and reliably in unique formats that suit patients’ needs. Our goal is to help provide patients access to the highest-quality medical cannabis products that can improve their quality of life, and also support them with best-in-class service and programs so they make the choices best suited to their needs.”
